I’m obsessed with … AZ

Vacation rocks. My most recent break from reality took me to Arizona.

Home to my girlfriend Jenny, Scottsdale was the perfect getaway for Lin, Laura and I. We crashed at Jenny’s condo which is gorgeous! To be perfectly honest with you, we didn’t do a whole lot. Most days consisted of an AM coffee run to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, pool time, lots of napping, reading and relaxing, dinner and an early bedtime. The weather was unreal: 80-100 degrees and sunny. Added bonus, we got to see our girlfriends Lexi and Amanda!

The one activity we did do? Hike Camelback Mountain.

We opted for the Echo Canyon trail … aka the most difficult and most popular path. The climb itself was a blast, but the view from the top? Breathtaking!

Overall, I’m a huge fan of Arizona and it has officially been added to the list of places I could see myself living.

And now, back in Chi … and back to reality. A massive thank you to Jenny for being an amazing hostess!!

About thetwentysixthyear

September 6, 2011: I turn twenty-six years old. I live and work in downtown Chicago and really can't complain about too much -- great family, great friends, great life. So this is my personal blog. Experiencing and living my twenty-sixth year. I have no idea what to expect or where I'll be one year from now ... but one thing is certain: I will enjoy the ride.
