Special Edition: NYE Menu

I’m over the whole “pay $150+ to go to an over-crowded bar for new years” thing. Been there. Done that.

Instead some co-workers and I have decided to ring in 2012 with a fancy dinner and house party. Awesome food? Awesome friends? I’m in. We’ve decided that the ladies will cook and the men will be in charge of drinks … so here starts the first installment of our NYE menu, a sampling of recipes we’ll be testing out:

APPETIZERS

Bacon-Wrapped Dates

Bite-sized Baked Brie

MAIN COURSE

Simple Dinner Salad

Beef Tenderloin

Tomato, Basil and Cheese Baked Pasta

DESSERT

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes

September 6, 2011: I turn twenty-six years old. I live and work in downtown Chicago and really can't complain about too much -- great family, great friends, great life. So this is my personal blog. Experiencing and living my twenty-sixth year. I have no idea what to expect or where I'll be one year from now ... but one thing is certain: I will enjoy the ride.
